Center + Pine was purchased in April ’16, in partnership with Desert Winds Homes, and is a collection of three individually unique properties. It is transforming a currently blighted area of Downtown Reno into a mixed use retail, restaurant and residential area. The first is a 22,000 square foot abandoned motel (Center Street Lodge) that will be converted into 24 brand new apartments with space for retail/restaurant on the main level. The second is the old Pine Street Liquor Store with conversion plans designed for 3,000 square feet of restaurant space. Lastly, a 2,000 square foot abandoned former retail store will be repurposed into See See Motor Coffee’s first location in Nevada. This building was built in 1914 and construction will be finished in September ’16. The overall project has an expected completion date of April ’17.
